David Bowie Tribute

I heard a quote from Bowie a year or two ago that really stuck with me:

“Writing a song for me…it never rang true. I had no problem writing something for Iggy Pop or working with Lou Reed..but I find it extremely hard to write for me. So I found it quite easy to write for the artists I would create. Having created the Ziggy it was much easier to then write for him…even though it’s me doing it.” - David Bowie | Blank on Blank

I can’t explain it very well but that idea has really helped me out.
